Alabama was the top fund-raiser last year in the Log a Load for Kids competition, raising some $421,500 to 2nd place Arkansas' $421,098. Congratulations to everybody involved with making the 2007 year one of our best!

Things are moving pretty fast in 2008, with events held in the Warrior, Piedmont, Delta and Wiregrass Districts and planned in the Capital, Longleaf, Piedmont (Golf Tournament) Districts and a Statewide Golf Tournament! NOTE: There might have been some confusion about the Annual Capital District Golf Tournament (set for May 8) and the Statewide Golf Tournament (set for June 3) because both events are being held in Montgomery. The Capital District Golf Tournament is completely separate from the Statewide Tournament despite the fact both are held at Lagoon Park in Montgomery. Also, the Statewide event  involves all AFA districts. SD
