The North Alabama Forestry Workshop For Agriscience Educators is designed for teachers and agri-science educators and focuses on the ALSDE Forestry Worker CRI. Throughout this workshop, you will learn about forest ecology, management, and products through guest speakers, field trips, and hands-on activities. Learn the importance Alabama's forests have to the environment and economy in our state, while certifying to teach the Forestry Worker CRI to your students.

About the Workshop

The North Alabama Forestry Workshop For Agriscience Educators is designed for teachers and agri-science educators and focuses on the ALSDE Forestry Worker CRI. Throughout this workshop, you will learn about forest ecology, management, and products through guest speakers, field trips, and hands-on activities. Learn the importance Alabama's forests have to the environment and economy in our state, while certifying to teach the Forestry Worker CRI to your students.

All participants are fully trained in the Forestry Worker CRI, Project Learning Tree and receive curriculum guidebooks, corresponding Forestry Worker textbook, and more resources.


Teachers receive valuable classroom resources including: field guides, posters, Project Learning Tree guides, activity kits, and much more. Teachers receive 22 hours of CEUs for attending the entire course.
