Join Alabama Forestry Foundation for this exciting new workshop!  Educators throughout Alabama have loved and participated in Teachers Conservation Workshop since 1970.  This year we add an additional workshop offering to the lineup to create the new Teachers Conservation Workshop series.  Participants are welcome to register for one or both workshops.  This workshop focuses on the relationship of clean water as it relates to healthy forests.  The two-day workshop will include field trips and hands-on activities.  Participants will be trained in the international environmental education curriculum Project Learning Tree.  Agri-science and high school teachers will be eligible to take the Forest Worker Career Readiness Indicator (CRI) test upon workshop completion.

Participants are provided with housing in double occupancy rooms in downtown Tuscaloosa.  All rooms will be shared with other educators/workshop participants.  Encourage teacher friends to attend!  Roommate requests are allowed.  The $50 workshop fee covers the cost of double occupancy room, meals, field trips, and all workshop materials.

Cancellations received 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop will be refunded.
