Join Alabama Forestry Foundation for this exciting new workshop!  Educators throughout Alabama have loved and participated in Teachers Conservation Workshop since 1970.  Workshop organizers update the 2019 schedule offering two workshops - the traditional workshop in Auburn and an additional offering to the lineup to create the new Teachers Conservation Workshop series.  Participants are welcome to register for one or both workshops.  This workshop provides participants with an overview of Alabama's amazing forests and all that they entail - trees, soil, water, wildlife, jobs, and more.  The three-day workshop includes field trips and hands-on activities.  Participants will be trained in the international environmental education curriculum Project Learning Tree.  Agri-science and high school teachers will be eligible to take the Forest Worker Career Readiness Indicator (CRI) test upon workshop completion.

Participants are provided with housing in double occupancy rooms in downtown Auburn.  All rooms will be shared with other educators/workshop participants.  Encourage teacher friends to attend!  Roommate requests are allowed.  The $50 workshop fee covers the cost of double occupancy room, meals, field trips, and all workshop materials.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop will be refunded.
